Creating the best version of you
At Face by Dr Alex, we believe in preserving the unique beauty of each individual client, not making everyone look the same.
We take a non-surgical approach tailored to each individual client, treating the face as a whole, with our goal being to enhance the beauty of each person, by harmonising their features and restoring facial balance.
We know that our clients have their own aesthetic goals, and we will work with you to tailor specific treatments for your individual goals or concerns, whether this may be to generate a more youthful, refreshed look, or to simply optimise your existing beauty.
We treat the face as a whole, to optimise beauty, restore facial balance, and create a refreshed look. Some of our clients know exactly what treatments they want to get, whereas others are unsure of what treatments are available, and what results are achievable (it can be very overwhelming seeing lists of all the possible treatments!).
This is where pan-facial assessment comes in.
Dr Alex can assess all aspects of your face, including your facial shape, proportions, underlying bone structure, subcutaneous fat deposition, and facial symmetry. We will take a series of photos of your face and can take measurements of your facial structure. This will allow Dr Alex to develop a personalised treatment plan, suited to your individual needs.
We don’t want to make you look like someone else – we want you to look like you, only better!
Often younger patients are interested in pan-facial assessment because they want to know if there is anything they can do to further ‘beautify’ their face. In these cases Dr Alex can assess the face using our pan-facial approach, and make minor ‘tweaks’ that significantly improve the patients’ appearance while maintaining a natural look. Often, this involves correcting asymmetries.
In many cases, patients will have one or two things that bother them, and they are looking to improve these areas. In these cases, non-surgical treatments including anti-wrinkle injections or filler used in specific areas can vastly improve a patients’ self-confidence.
Our aim, as always, is to enhance the beauty that is already there, and to make you feel more confident about yourself.
The ageing face
As we age, the face undergoes a number of changes.
Although it is of course impossible to stop the ageing process, we can slow down or even reverse many of the signs of ageing.
The three primary ways the face visibly ages is through deepening wrinkles in the skin, the loss of volume of the subcutaneous fat pads, and the reduction in the size of facial bones. The combination of these factors in addition to reduced levels of collagen in the skin as we age, results in the visible signs of ageing.
Some patients come to us with a photo of themselves in their 20s or 30s and ask if we are able to make them look more like their younger selves.
Most of the time Dr Alex is able to achieve significant improvements with non-surgical treatments, such as a combination of anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler.
Our aim is to make you look like a refreshed, rejuvenated version of yourself that more closely resembles the way you looked when you were younger, not to make you look ‘fake’ or like someone else.
